Longmont Qigong Classes
Ongoing Qigong classes in Longmont, Colorado.
Every Tuesday from 5:40 – 6:35 at The Meditation Place.
Each class will focus on the foundations of all qigong practice with breathing techniques and relaxation, as well as the specifics of individual postures
Through coordination of breath and movement, relaxation and stretches are done in a standing position to help strengthen the body while promoting overall health. The key postures help body alignment in both the skeletal and muscular system.
Friday Night Relaxation Class
Friday night May 12th 5:45 – 6:00 drop-in, by donation, at The Meditation Place in Longmont.
Have you had a stressful week? Need to relax before the weekend? Come and join us for our Friday Night Wind Down, this week.
This week our class will involve relaxed breathing and inner awareness meditation, followed by Yoga Nidra (“yogic sleep”).

Stressful week? Need to relax for the weekend?
Come and join us for our Friday Night Wind Down, where we will focus on meditation and relaxation techniques to leave the work week behind. Start your weekend off by relaxing and clearing your mind. Classes will use a combination of breathing, inner awareness, meditation, and relaxation techniques taken from a variety of disciplines. Each week will involve a different technique or combination of techniques to help you relax and unload the stress of the work week. Techniques includes yoga nidra, yogic breathing, tratak (candle gazing), daoist breathing, Jain meditation, and others.

Wudang 5 Elements Qigong – Longmont, Colorado
This April I will be teaching Wudang five animals qigong on Tuesday nights from 5:45 to 6:45 at The Meditation Place.
Qigong is a traditional Chinese health practice that combines meditation, breathing, relaxation, and stretching techniques. Through coordination of breath and movement, relaxation and stretches are done in a standing position to help strengthen the body while promoting overall health. The 5 Elements Qigong is aimed at creating a balance of the 5 major organ systems of the body as classified in traditional Chinese medicine, including the heart, kidneys, lungs, and digestive systems. Each of the key postures also helps body alignment in both the skeletal and muscular system. Each class will focus on the foundations of all qigong practice with breathing techniques and relaxation, as well as the specifics of individual postures of the 5 Elements Qigong.
Cost is $5 suggested donation.
The Meditation Place is located at 324 Main Street, Longmont, Colorado
